Questions & Answers
EveryCheck specializes in pre-employment resume checks. We are mandated by the company you are applying to to check the information contained in your resume.
We check only the objective data on your resume (authenticity of identity document, diploma obtained, date of employment, etc.). We do not verify the quality of your previous work experience (e.g. whether you were a good salesperson). Under no circumstances do we collect information about your private life (housing, state of health, religion, sexual or political orientation, family life, etc.).
Every day, our team of verifiers validates the objective elements of your resume. The verification process is completely confidential, and our staff will never disclose the content of verified resumes.
Many companies and recruitment agencies want to guarantee the veracity of the profiles they hire. Resume checking has become an integral part of the recruitment process.
Since a law was passed in 1992, your potential employer has had the right and duty to check the veracity of what you have written on your resume. However, no verification can be carried out without your knowledge. The recruiter is obliged to inform you of the recruitment methods and techniques that will be used. What's more, verification must be carried out in a non-discriminatory manner: no personal information unrelated to the position to be filled may be collected.
We don't want to put candidates in any uncomfortable position. If you are still working for a company, we will only carry out a presence check.
Unless specifically requested by the company that has mandated us, our teams select the elements of your resume to be verified. You cannot modify the selected elements.
The verification of your resume is independent of your recruitment process. Your employer will contact you again after receiving our report. For your information, we generally deliver the verification report to your recruiter within 48 hours.
The information collected on this platform is intended solely for the company wishing to recruit you. We do not reuse your data for commercial purposes. However, after anonymization, your data may be used for statistical purposes, but these statistics will not include any data that could identify you.
We retain your data for a period ranging from 3 months to 2 years, depending on your recruiter’s preference. Once this period has elapsed, we will anonymize your personal data before deleting it.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access and rectify any information concerning you. You may also oppose the processing of your data by contacting us or by refusing the authorization that will be requested of you. However, in this case, EveryCheck will not be able to carry out the mission entrusted to it by the employer and will not be able to verify the information concerning you.
EveryCheck complies with the compliance rules of the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) and with the Règlement Général sur la Protection des Données (RGPD).
